Please Make my Change in Small Bills…

Harvey, over at Bad money should have scooped this story before me…

COVINGTON, Ga. - A woman was caught trying to use a fake $1 million bill to buy $1,675 worth of merchandise at a Wal-Mart, and was later found with two more of the bills in her purse, police said

Maybe she should have tried a smaller denomination first.

So does this say bad things about Georgia - that there was a Georgian who was stupid enough to try to pass off a million dollar bill? Or does it say good things, since the cashier was smart enough to know it was a phony right away?

Jim - we're talking Georgia - what did you expect? Opps. That's right, you're in Georgia. Sorry. :-)

Anyway - I think what really gave her away (and showed that she was the stupid one) was the fact that she went to Walmart. I'm sure the cashier was thinking, "If I had a million dollars to spend, I can't imagine anything that I'd want to buy here!"
