That's wonderful.

I too moved into a house that had a wreck of a kitchen, hallway, bedroom...and I found that, if forced to live with the sheer ugliness, I could learn.

And I did.

I'm hell on wheels with a crowbar and a tile cutter. You can do this-and you will love it, I'm sure. It's frustrating as hell, and it makes the most sound of couples argue, but still-at the end of the day, it's yours. And you'll have upped the value substantially.
